Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information Filie collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Filie does not require an account, does not know anything about the files you transfer, and does not store your files on our servers. File transfers are peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted. The only data collected is the minimum needed to operate the service, show ads (see Advertising below), and improve the app.

How Transfers Work

Files are transferred directly between devices using end-to-end encryption. We do not have access to the contents of any files you transfer.

Advertising

The free version of Filie on Android and iOS is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location, and general device information. How this data is used is described in Google's How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Privacy Policy.

If you are in a region where the GDPR or similar laws apply, Filie asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can choose non-personalized ads instead, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy options. Subscribers to Filie Pro see no ads at all.

Analytics

Apart from advertising (above), there are no trackers — just anonymous usage data (such as crash reports) to help us improve the product. This data does not include file contents or personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

Filie is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and as a direct Windows download. Those platforms have their own privacy policies. Filie uses Google AdMob for advertising (see Advertising above) and Google Firebase for crash reporting and anonymous analytics.

Children

Filie is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated date.
