Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information Filie collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Filie does not require an account, does not know anything about the files you transfer, and does not store your files on our servers. File transfers are peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted. The only data collected is the minimum needed to operate the service and improve the app.

How Transfers Work

Files are transferred directly between devices using end-to-end encryption. End-to-end encryption ensures that only the sender and recipient have access to the contents of the files. We do not have access to the contents of any files you transfer.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data (such as crash reports) to help us improve the product. This data does not include file contents or personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

Filie is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, the Microsoft Store, and is available as a Linux download. Those platforms have their own privacy policies. Filie uses Google Firebase for crash reporting and anonymous analytics.

Children

Filie is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
